HISTORY OF SUJNI
About Sujni
Sujni is a traditional form of textile art in India, primarily recognized through the unique hand-woven quilts of Bharuch, Gujarat.
The Sujani of Bharuch is entirely different, this is a rare, complex double-weaving method where two weavers operate a shuttle together. As the fabric is woven, small pockets are created and manually stuffed with raw cotton directly on the loom.
Feature product
We believe Sujni fabric should feel as intimate as the heritage it carries. Each thread is meticulously hand-woven to balance artisanal tradition with modern elegance—crafted to be lived in today, and passed down as a legacy forever. Since 1860, our pure handmade fabric has remained a testament to patient craftsmanship and the enduring beauty of the human touch.
